how is DX50 when paired with JDS O2 ?

  Anyone having problems with auto shutdown with 1.2.2?   It doesn't work for me.   Every night i listen to the dx50 in bed and fall asleep.  Every morning it is still on and feeling really warm - even though it wasn't even playing anything.  Can someone running 1.2.2 test the auto off on their dap to check?  Thanks.

Same happens to me. 
I've been trying changing setting with no luck.

Thanks kakabayan will try downgrading hopefully it would not freeze at "system update" or system check.

I have downloaded 1.2.0 early this morning, I'll download 1.1.6 later.

Let us know if that worked. I know that certain electronic devices hate to be "skip" upgraded - they need to be updated by every firmware release - maybe the dx50 is one of them

I have auto-shutoff set to 20 minutes. I haven't timed it but it is definitely working. I sometimes don't bother to turn the DX50 off and just let it turn off on its own. (Firmware V 1.2.2)

My batch 6 DX50 had 1.2.2 already installed - and 1.2.2 had just been released. So if there is a further update before they release batch 7, this likely will be pre-loaded as you hope.

 
My sixth batch had 1.2, not 1.22, so it must have been made before the update, basically means ibasso is not going to bother going back to update each player, and each new DX50 gets the latest firmware at the time. Meaning if a firmware update is released half way through the making of a new batch, then half the batch will have the latest firmware and the earlier half will have the older firmware.

  ^ It is a beauty. I will post some comparative impressions of the DX50 with the Quickstep and Pico Power down the road. I need some more listening time. There are definite differences but it is also fair to say that you cannot go wrong with either combination.

 
Damn they stack pretty nice as well! I'm VERY interested in hearing your thoughts on the Pico Power vs. Meier Quickstep!

No doubt the X5 will sound great, my only gripe with it is the control by mechanical wheel 

  instead of touchscreen, really like the DX50's touch screen. I'm sure some people will prefer the sound of DX50 over X5 and vice versa, I reckon I will really like both 

 Also I do wish these Chinese DAPs had slightly better processors, having to wait a second for the sound to catch up when you forward music is annoying.

That`s cool, man.  I was just looking at this amp, now that it seems I need to forego the M8.    Share your thoughts? Is that a 3.5mm analogue connect between them?  What is the iBasso house sound?  Are you running full size cans ?  
I`d also love to hear some impressions with the AHA-120;l a seller here has one for sale with a huge discount so I`m tempted to try a little class A action. .

Yes I've got a 3.5mm interconnect from the line out to the input of the PB2 running SE. I run all my IEMs you see in my signature and mainly the Mad Dogs because they are closed. The sound is excellent, comparable with a decent desktop setup and IMO is better than my Audio Gd 15.32. I think the iBasso house sound is what the DX50 sounds like but just more refined and detailed. I can't really explain it. Did I mention you can opamp roll.
