I have a feeling that this applies to a_rec more than the rest of us... given the um "consumption" factor.

Strangely enough, I liked the one of her painting a lot more.  Maybe it was because it seemed less posed for?

Apparently, I missed something too! I was waiting on warrenpchi's initials or something... what was he giving away

again?

NOTHING!  Not giving away... oh nvm...

Can't wait 'till 'a-rec' logs back in.

Ms. Seleme: I know what you mean. We appreciate the effortlessness projected. With her being an artist up and down PCH (between MDR & Santa Monica) you likely already bumped in to her.

Initials: If memory serves - hunger looms, challenging me

a bit - I think you were offering initials or code for exclusive

access to your published reviews or something.

Also, I forgot to say - I posted up my ES10 video.

It is starting to get unmanageable how many takes it takes for me to make one <10 minute video. Sometimes I feel like Winnebago man (NSFW). I need to work on my spontaneous delivery and recovery from error -___-

Gig as in work.SA as in South America. It loses all the coolness when you have to spell it out.

No, lol, I get the gig obviously.  But South Africa, San Antonio, Smelly Arse, the possibilities are mind boggling.

No kidding, we couldn't even get a pair of monoprice's out of you

That's because they suck a little, and friends don't do that to friends.

Hey hey hey? Just what are you implying?

You make it sound like I woke up at 3AM to watch the Apple keynote and I'm going to be watching the Sony conference in an hour and I am waiting for Fedex this morning to deliver the new Westone micro driver IEMs which I bought on launch. And that as I lay awake in bed I thought "I think I will go to eat ramen in the city tomorrow".

OUTRAGEOUS SLANDER

I was referring to "losing" IEMS, but if the same shoes that your friend wears fits...

LOL, no I just meant that yes I would do a full review on the AH-C400 later.  But I wanted Diary Threaders to know my initial [impressions] first.

Oh speaking of shoes I found the most awesome thing at a vintage market the other day.

It was a pair of Nike high top shoes in red / white. They scream Back to the Future era excess. As if Nike looked at bowling shoes and decided to make their own high top version.

They look so awesome and are made of leather. ALL LEATHER. I need to clean them up and then I will post pics here because they are so awesome.

Best part? THEY WERE 5 DORRARR

I don't understand why anyone would ever want to throw them away.

Nah hut, I play the violin

Except I don't currently make a living off of it.
Go see a doctor.  For someone else, this would be an inconvenience.  For you, it's your livelihood!

But it's one day before the trip. Gurd. Don't think they can schedule an appointment in a few hours :s

i-c-e ! Curiously, will your ability to perform/practice be hampered?

No, it doesn't bother me playing the violin at all. Yup, could use some of that :D

I spy a-rec got a haircut.

OK how about the Philips 3580 then?

In a similar vein dug the old Palm Zire 31 out of mothballs to try out some flac files. I had forgotten how good a little player it is with tcpmp. Still the only player I ever heard in the portable arena that made mp3's sound palatable. Killer with flacs separtation and positioning galore. If this thing had any battery life it would become my goto.

Dude, you do a great show and there's a reason why they look so professional

You actually take the time to do it right
By the way, I'll take those ES10's off your hands when you're ready to part with them.

I remember those type of high tops from back in the day. I never bought a pair because I didn't want to get mugged by a fashionista thug for overpriced Nike shoes

You're not alone Warren, I'm always quietly lurking around in this thread at any given time. Sometimes I don't post for a bit because I'm to busy looking after my Dr Evil duties but I'm always around watching the flow of the thread.

Today I received Ghoststory by School Of 7 Bells. I immediately ripped it loaded it up into my Classic hooked it up to my CLAS rig and decided to do something totally different and bring out an old friend. Today my customs, headphones and newer IEM's get the day off and my old friend, the Sony MDR EX600, gets the nod for the day. I haven't had this old friend of mine in the rotation for awhile so it's nice to get reaquainted with it. Even though I have better sounding gear I'm still floored what this little sub 200 Sony brings to the table. Makes me cheer Sony on and keep my fingers crossed they get their financial woes together and come up with even more nicely priced crazy sounding products like the EX 600. Seriously, I'd love to see a bigger better meaner and much improved EX lineup released by them.

As for Ghoststory, I'm half way through it right now an I've yet to hear a bad song on it. I really hope MuppetFace posts some more music dumps involving indie and electronic bands. I'm really digging her taste in artists in these two genres right now and being exposed to these new bands is pure awesome sauce. Anyone else in here know anything more about this band? I'm probably going to look up their discography and grab whatever other albums they have out. Is there any certain albums from them I should avoid?

Go through the Ghostly catalog, you'll find a ton of awesome stuff!

I wonder what the people who say the K3003 has coherency issues would say if they heard the Rhapsodio RDB+ 2v1.

I take it first impressions aren't that positive?

Man. I'm passing those on tonight but they are just odd. It frankly seems a little outrageous that they are priced the way they are.

My thoughts exactly. It's pretty much a poorly tuned TWFK, with a decent DD that prob cost them pennies on the dollar. Just bad.
