Nice the thread is unlocked. Well looking forward to hearing everyone's impressions. However I was notified that GG's demo pair had a failure with the mid driver. So things will be a bit delayed on that regard.

However on a plus note Tralucent has taken the feedback from people who have demoed their units and decided to update their 1Plus2 model. The updated model supposedly is significantly more detailed and resolving than before. The comments where made in comparison to the HD800 and being even more detailed than this monster of a phone. So this is very exciting and I really look forward to hearing this for myself. Tralucent has also updated the dynamic drivers to high end ones. So the bass should be of higher quality, more impact while still being very well controlled. The mids are also slightly more upfront than previously and are a bit thicker. The sound stage is about the same size but placement within that sound stage is noticeably improved. So let's see if this turns out to be as good as I'm hoping. So far I haven't been disappointed and am looking forward to hearing these improvements. Also if you are wondering, yes an updated pair will be sent to GG for the tour :).

I couldn't help contacting Gavin for more info after you posted this. They're even using OCC pure silver wiring now. He also sent along some pics of the redesign, here's a couple.

Absolutely gorgeous!

I'll be evaluating the newly revised 1plus2 in the coming weeks; I'm not sure what the timeline will be, but it will be as soon as the new versions get finalized and made up.

I'm quite looking forward to hearing it in person!

Haven't heard it yet but should in the next few weeks myself. Also can't wait lol :). I'll update the thread with more pics once I get back home. Indeed the driver housing is a bit bigger than before from what I'm hearing. This is probably also playing a roll on the bass response along with the new driver. The connectors are also now recessed pins for durability. Elnero you are ineed correct about the pure silver wiring also being used on the internals. I have a feeling this is also playing a major roll on the sonics of this IEM. This is unheard of IMO in IEMs or audio equipment (at least this is a first for me). Obviously Tralucent is taking it to another level.

Better be on a day where we don't have to rush . I'd also like you to hear my modded IE80s and MDR-7550s :p. The IE80s have been stealing the show for the past few days now lol.

Yes Gavin has requested my sending back the demo pair I have. It's actually the high driver after listening to it again that failed on me.

Hopefully the guys in line won't mind too much since it seems now we're dealing with even bigger monster of an IEM to put our grubby hands on. I'm impressed with what the 1+2 rev1 does, so I can't wait until I get to hear the 1+2 rev2.
