Will not work?

Thanks I emailed them on this as well. They told me if you wanna bypass the android EQ just leave it off. Pretty much lock the EQ and shut it off and restart it and it will work as they intended it. And I must say I have really grown to like how this sounding. My battery life seems to be improving as well. From the looks of things I won't be surprised if I get 9+ hours of playback .
Also ibasso likes my idea of allowing for the swipe feature on the main player to take you back to your last screen (playlist/Directory) and may very well implement this in the next update. If they do this and the few minor qualms we have with the unit, the DX100 will have a very reasonable and easy to use UI. A first for any Chinese DAP I must say.

Some occasional 'pop' sound when the screen fades out or comes in while the music is still playing. Happens when I activate the screen to change tracks/adjust volume or to switch off the screen just to save battery. Sometimes, even after the device has been on for a while, turning on the music player apps will give this same 'pop' sound as well.
It is the similar 'pop' sound I get when the device is switched on or off whereby the cause of that was attributed to the capacitors.
Hopefully iBasso will be able to remedy this in the following firmware update because I believe that to be due to software rather than hardware.
When I have my customs in and when the player goes into sleep mode and I turn it on again, the pop sound is ridiculously loud and startles me every time. It scares me that it could ruin the customs if not my hearing first. An extreme flaw IMO.

What tags do you have on the device. I've noticed in general with Chinese DAPs v3.2 tags don't work right. Remove all those tags if possible and replace them with 3.1 on the fly using mp3tag.
But I am noticing the bit rates are a bit off. Sometimes by 5 to 8 kbs. Is this what you guys are referring to?
My flacs have only the flac or vorbis tag added via mp3tag, I don't see any way of adding v3.1 or v3.2 tags but thr DX100 doesn't even use the tags right now, instead it uses the filename for the title and the folder name for the album, totally ignores embedded art etc. Has anyone managed to get flac tags recognized, if so how?
I see that he's replaced all the caps & the OpAmps. How do you know which OpAmp to replace it with especially different OpAmps may have different pinout. And the original OpAmp has had its face sanded off?
I'd guess you'd use just higher quality caps...Elna? BlackGates?
Gutsy move, I wouldn't try that myself. Like my DX100 as it is at the moment.
I got my iBasso DX100 (batch 3) yesterday and have been ripping cds to wav and copying to the dx100 and making a playlist for each individual album all night. I like the sound I get from it with the Beyerdynamic DT 250/250 a lot (high gain and volume between 230 and max) but what really blew me away was when I connected the line out to my loudspeaker system. It sounds so much better to me than the Cambridge Azur 640C cd player. For reference what I did was making a factory reset when I got it and keep the EQ on closed (bypassing it as I understand it). I did neither root it nor update the firmware till now. It came with V1.0.6 firmware.
So far the only glitches I noticed is the accu never going above 99% when charging it (does it stop charging when full by itself anyway even when it doesn't display 100%, does anyone know?) and that sometimes the screen locks spontaneously while adding songs to a playlist. No pops or other disturbing sounds no matter what I do so far.
So I'm really happy with it right now. Later I'm gonna try it with the LCD-2s powered by the Violectric V200 (reall curious about the results) but now I'm heading off to a day-time-outdoor-goa-party. =)
Might be a good idea for those that have working knowledge of which SD cards work to update the Wiki for the 3rd wavers including what SD cards work and what doesn't (if it hasn't been included already)
