@Bowei
Channel imbalance? Do you mean overall? Or just certain instruments which were panned on the left? I did have the feeling when listening on speakers that in the part with the accordion the left guitar may have been a little louder, and at the end I thought the harpsichord on the left was louder than the piano on the right. I thought maybe it was just a fluke though since ironically I couldn't hear this on headphones. Maybe my suspicions were correct after all. I can adjust this in five seconds though and problem solved.

Remember that this wasn't recorded in extremely ideal conditions, with mismatched microphones and budget gear. Also remember I am an utter amateur.

Anyone else see this yet?

I am oh so excited to see amp measurements on IF.

Obviously not all of them are the same, but if those Woo measurements are at all indicative of what one might possibly expect from tube amps, I feel personally justified in my being very afraid of tubes! And this is considered "high end?" "Hifi?" I mean, I've got a romantic streak too, but jebus. Granted I haven't heard real tubes before, but I've experimented adding harmonic distortion to things with plugins and even just a little bit was absolutely nasty. Maybe that's not exactly what it sounds like, but could it be that different? I guess some people might actually like listening to their music through a veiled hazy blanket of distortion, but for me...blech. If I paid hundreds, let alone thousands of dollars for something like that I would just off myself.

About Project-H i know that it's a Obj2 hybrid (LOL) but from the incomprehensible talks of stuff a few hundred pages ago, I'm guessing we're not using the ODAC?

Nope, instead we're using this:

@mini
Yep to akito

@joe
Sorry

@manveru
The panning is what I meant. There are programs that show in real time what channel is louder though in foobar. It seems the left gets a bit too much attention

@jgray
Cs4398 flagship with a custom controlling pcb and custom case. Smaller than schiit asgard. Not too big

@kalbee gr01?

Nothing to quote...

Does anyone here has an ODAC so that we can compare the DAC used in project H and ODAC?

Anyone still remember that Live 2D demo before? I just knew that the app MiraiClock (Both Android & iOS) uses it. Tried and meh...Probably because it doesn't have much function. But the girl does follow your finger when you move around the screen

Alright easy fix. It's strange that while I was able to hear this on speakers, I was not able to hear it on headphones, so I wasn't completely sure which one to trust.
