Thanks, no worries yeah?  I'll drink a $8 beer in an hour some nights.

I'd try Complys on all the in ears I have if it weren't for the fact I need to yank them out of my ears all the time to talk to people at work, and my hands are typically dirty at work also, so they'd get all gunked up quickly.  My foamy earplugs weren't making it a week without getting nasty.

Nonetheless, I'm going to continue to burn em in and try again and again.  I got nothing else to do.

I appreciate you not giving up on them. I know these aren't gonna please everyone but better tips or a tip mod will make a huge difference.

I won't be surprised if Monoprice increases the price of this one to about $20 when they are back in stock

I hope not. Their DJ cans was sold out quickly because of the exposure here but they never raised the price. If it was Amazon now that is a different story.

Wow. Hey man I am glad you like em..You just made my day. Geeze I needed to hear that. Lol!! With that I say. Listen to this. You tell me if the bass is not good on these. Are you kiddin??
.

i hate to do this because it looks like im trying to argue. but, i'm one of the people that like these headphones! I'm glad you shared!

but, in that song, yes the bass line sounds good but it's also weak. as a basshead, that is minimal compared to what i like

New Boyz- I Dont Care (Tried it out with my 2.1 Altec Lansing speakers - makes my walls shake)

See what I mean? The IEMs do have a nice bass, but if I turn up the volume, the "effect" isn't the same as a headphone that I'd consider bassy. It's a quality sound, but I wouldn't consider them bassy.

I think you are right in that these could use a bit more dynamics in that department.. I use bass boost on my Sony Mp3 and bassy music to my ears sound perfect to me but on a flat eq it is a bit lacking on the bass end for bass lovers. I definitely recommend trying out a bass end eQ and or using an amp...

That last tune on my desktop with my bass end eq I can feel the drivers vibrate on my eyes, lol!!

Well the chord is a bit thin which is a bit worrisome but they have held together pretty good actually..And on the housing I can tell the metallic paint on there is very thick. I accidently dropped mine several times and it didn't chip off. But even if it does it will probably be cheaper to just buy another pair than try to fix it some how.

Oh yea thanks to all you guys for sticking up for me. I appreciate it.

We will defend you to the DEATH.

Assimilator702.. A sight for my vibrating eyes.Lol!. Thanks for your character reference. I like to think I am right.. I think I have made some guys angry today but  I think I need a break from discovering hidden gems around here and let some other guys do it for once.

@Xedjflowx  You will be my official bass head perspective guy on the monoprice. 8320.  I know there are much better even at bass but what is on these things for the price is just stupid.  You are listening to the wrong IEM. You need to hear what the JVC HAFX1X sound like. If you aren't happy with that bass on that I just don't know man. Those would make any bass head happy IMO. I can recommend those to you for sure. You like big mid bass punch and very low sub bass extension it just don't get too much bigger than what is on those iems. That being said,  I love the way bass sounds on the 8320... I think the quantity and quality is just right.  mid porridge

Hey you shouldn't apologize for doing a service to people.

This a community.

If people don't appreciate all that comes with a community.....well I don't know what to say to that.

Theres no reason we can't discuss budget gems. I have a fairly well appointed home audio rig and stacks of collectible car audio amps and subs and high end processors.....I have some seriously nice audio toys.

I guess I deserve nothing less than Westone, Audez, Sennheiser and Beyer Dynamic and AKG, and Shiit Lyers and $2K DAC's

But my budget will only allow for scraps at the moment.

So I appreciate a budget suggestion since headphones/iem's are the final unventured audio territory for me so I need to start somewhere......and cheap sounds good to me.

Well, I followed Dsnuts with his HTF600S, and got one before it's sold out, now just wait till it comes in front of my house. But I guess this time I am too late.
Anyone here got a pair and is willing to share? I cant afford too much for you, but a little bit is enough.

Of course people will show up and bash, it's part of the entertainment, it's called "price justification" and they feel threatened for some reason. DSnuts never even said "Giant killer", that was me planting that term because i knew people would get all butt hurt

And i don't think anyone here ever claimed to be an "audiophile" either.

I've been checking this forum just recently ( 2 weeks ago) after complaints of my wife because i was gaming too loud. I needed some new headphones so i searched the net and came on these boards.

My dre Solo headband broke two years ago. I was so mad back then because i paid big bucks for it. Even though i liked the bassy sound i didn't wanted to pay all that money again. I'I just felt there should be out there something that at least sounded as good for less money. I'm not an audiophile, more of a gadgetgeek. If something is the best for its pricerange i need to have it. I'm just a casual musiclover and fanatic gamer. I bought the the HTF600 last week and even though i didn't burned them in i already like the sound of it. I got it for 35 euro's it from amazon uk. If it wasn't for this community i would have overlooked this and bought something more expensive.

I just made this account to say thank to Dsnuts and the community for all the nice reviews i've seen. I was thinking of getting something between a Sony MDR-6, SONY XB500, AT M50 or AKG D518 after seeing the reviews. But i chose the Panasonic HTF600 of all the positive things i've seen. I'm really happy with it. So when these IEM's came on here a few days ago i didn't hesitate to buy some. One for me and a few for my friends as gifts '( I'll think i'll mod them first before i give them ). I'll check them out when they're in. Keep the reviews and mods coming. Finding these threads were a nice discovery for me.

Nngh, found another mod to try once these come in. @_@E
Edit: like these instructions best. Old links are quoted in the post below.
http://www.howtogeek.com/57481/how-to-make-custom-silicone-ear-molds-for-your-in-ear-monitors/
I'll have to order myself some Sugru, or Radians... The instructibles that tell you to use Oogoo or make your own Oogoo also include "Wash your ears and apply moisturising cream/ Aloe or Sun burn lotion to calm and sooth your ears after exposure to acetic acid. You will need to repeat this for a few days after"  >.>;; I look forward to trying these nonetheless o3o;;

Also, getting just a little worried. I ordered last friday, I think, and USPS has yet to recieve them, it just says they have the electronic shipping info, and told to expect the package for mailing, on the 22nd, but Monoprice's site says they were mailed on the 20th @.@ Is this typical, and USPS is just taking their time updating the tracking number? >.<

Glad to here you got another Gem I suggested.. The HTF600 is a silly great phone. I have that attached to my desktop permanently.. It is my go to can for bassy tunes. Sorry you missed out on the IEMS before they were all sold out.  I wish I snapped up on a bunch before they sold out. I had no idea how quick they would sell out. Talk about an amazing gift for music fans.  Please someone help out Kyon.. I am 100% sure they will have more but not till early next year.  Or for the guys that don't like your 8320.. You will have no problems selling them to guys that want to try them..

Ya it is crazy just how great the HTF600s are.. I still want to stand next to a Dre beats display with one and ask people which one sound better to them.. I am glad to have helped you get a great sounding , cheaper alternative..It is when I hear guys like you that benefit from my threads I feel justified in doing what I do.. You just threw a huge smile on my face..

With thanks giving and shops getting ready for the inevitable mad rush for black Friday. It doesn't surprise they are probably swamped with shipping. Patience guys, you will get them..
