Is there any other way ? Looked a quite complicated.

Basically you should not be able to hear any sound outside with no music playing ? Is that consider your IEM is done correctly ?

nope because even with a bad seal on my iem's I still really cannot hear anything outside. The way I know is I can tell when I have a great seal so I just compare the sq to when I had that "great" seal and if it is comparable then I know I have a good seal

The Sensaphonics seal test is very simple! Just listen to the high and low frequency tone. They should be around the same perceived volume. You lose the lower frequencies when the seal is poor so if the deeper tone sounds softer, the seal is unsatisfactory!

Out of curiosity, I took my sf5p with null audio silver cable and with UE custom cable to try. My sf5p sound so lifeless. Lack of air, bass depth, treble extension and headstage. Look like i can't return to universal after this. =(

the super fi 5 pro is not the end all with universal IEM's, and i wouldnt call the super fi 5 lifeless compared to any earphones on the market, custom or universal. they are as lively as any imo. and the only reason customs tend to have better soundstage is because the drivers are a bit further away considering the length of the sound tubes

I did not say sf5p was the end with universal IEM. I have se530 with um56 and tf10p too. You do not hear things i do so you would not have the kind of feeling i do for god sake. My ex favorite IEM is sf5p and se530.

sf5p used to be my favorite IEM so I thought of comparing. But well, sf5p is still one of the best IEM in the market imo

The SF5Pro, SE530 and TF10Pro all sound a bit muddy compared to the T2. If only I had more cash "lying around", then I could give the T1 a try!

The only thing is, how can I justify two pairs of custom IEMs?

i feel better now, excuse my french everybody else, it seems there are some lively not very nice people on head fi that dont like being told somebody dont agree with them

all i said is i dont think the super fi 5 are lifeless thats all. and why are you commenting on the T1 saying they make the super fi sound lifeless if you have the attitude that everyone's hearing is so different, because your convinced we wouldnt have the same feeling as you so why bother posting.

edit: and i said the super fi 5 pro is not the end all because you said you couldnt return to universals because the super fi 5 were so lifeless. that says to me you seem to think the super fi 5 pro are the best universals going.

Hello everyone, I am also pretty interested in these. Although I am really really hesistant in buying them because, of course, i totally dont know what they sound like/if I will like their sound signature. And you cant even sell them if you dont like them and it isnt as if they are cheap. But iems do offer the best isolation there is and they are so portable... I have previously used the shure se530 but I found them a bit uncomfortable after a few hours and i couldnt really stand their sound for that long, as if the bass was to big for my head if that makes any sense at all. I wasnt too impressed with the soundstage either and i never found out how i had to change the sleeves, lol.
Does anyone know what the triple-driver iems on the market today are? i know the ue11 and the t1 have tripple drivers and something from hearityourself.com too. Are there anyw estones with tripple drivers, i found their site a bit difficult.
One good thing about acs is that is in europe, as am i, and their 2 year warranty, which frankly all +100euro headphones should have.
I am in such a dilemma!
Greetings, Anouk,
