I'm thinking about picking the classic up and was wondering if it's that great of an improvement over the 6G? I'm taking everything into account such as battery life, speed of the HDD, and weight (the GB doesn't really matter since I have under 30 gigs anyway).   Thanks

It's very late but I'm just letting you guys know that a review is coming. I sold my desktop setup for this (K702, PB1 Toucan, (T51) ) and from this afternoon and night of listening, I am happy that I did.

I just started in the summer and It'd be great to meet some people up here that are into the whole Hi-Fi hobby. Obviously the number of people here is going to grow exponentially when fall comes around but I figure I post something here and see what's up.   

Doing some light listening by the river today, I noticed that I liked the P more than the S for acoustic music; there was more bass in the music and it was just more exciting. However when going to classical I prefer the S for accuracy and balance.    What are your preferences?

Hey I just bought a cable but it's terminated with a 1/4th plug. Can someone point me to a high quality 1/4th to 1/8th adapter? It can be either a cable or a plug; doesn't matter to me :)

I was thinking about selling my UM3X and getting the newer one with detachable cables for an upgrade with a custom one. Does anyone know if custom cables are made yet? I saw a note about it earlier but A) I can't find it and B) It didn't really specify where those cables were sold.    Thanks.
