ah yeah after convincing myself to hold off I think I will pick up some Penon tips and some nice cables for my existing IEMs. Hopefully KZ/CCA continue to refine this 3 DD set up in upcoming IEMs

I said no more budget IEMs for 6 months but KZ Vader balanced is looking tempting if it truly is a more refined Trio.

It's still hard to believe the Delci are priced as low as they are considering the sound and build quality. If these were $100-$125 I bet they would have got more recognition from the masses but because they're in that ~$50-60 range they get overlooked in favour of IEMs priced 2-3 times more.

Ok i tried smaller tips to get a deeper fit and they do sound a little more airy now but can get a bit hot on the high end if i keep it on UUUU. But smaller tips and UDUD sounds amazing.

Had a bit of a scare this morning when i thought my Trio developed a channel imbalance. Turned out one of my old, trusty TRN cables went bad at the connector. Tried one of those cheapo KZ cables and it worked fine again. Actually now that I think of it I want to look for more for some more...

Some users here recommended UDUD for the Trio's switches and that's what I prefered in the end. I've been using the Trio since I got them. They really are phenominal for a $50 IEM

Akros really loved the Hydro and now I'm really interested in picking one up when the price goes down a little. I do wish they release a more ergonomic IEM with similar setup and tuning, but in a smaller, lighter shell without switches. Some of these IEMs are getting too big and heavy these days.

KZ/CCA have almost nailed the perfect tuning. Now I wish they would stop trying out different driver and BA configs, stop with the switches, and just focus on really getting one of their old models right. For example make a "Rhapsody mk II" or "Trio Plus" and really disrupt the market.

I really want to see a comparison between the ZS10 Pro 2 and the Trio now. I was interested in the Hydro but at this point they will probably release a cheaper version in a few months

Paul gave a glowing review for the Hydro. If i didn't buy a few IEMs recently I would have ordered that one too but I'll wait til it drops in price in a few months. Cable looks pretty solid too for a KZ/CCA IEM. For now I'll just enjoy the Trio and Delci

Akros said his favourite setting for the Trio's switches is UUDD so I'll give that a try tonight and see how it compares to UDUD

In regards to the Trio a lot of us have settled on UDUD for the switches as the sweet spot. I'd give it a few listens with that switch config too to see if you like it

I was going to order Delci but delayed it because I'm really enjoying the CCA Trio at the moment, but it's good to hear another positive review of the Delci. Once they get a little more discounted I'll jump on them right away.

Keep going back and forth between different switch settings and I think i will stick to UUUU for now with silicone tips. UUUD and UDUU are ok for me as well. I find UDUD to push the vocals back a slight bit.

My Trio finally arrived after some delays and they were worth the wait. For about $40CDN they are awesome all throughout the frequency range. Technicalities are pretty darn good too. Still playing around with the tuning switches and at the moment I'm on UDUU. Anyone else have any other good...

Moondrop Space Travel were a steal for their asking price, and I really enjoyed the tuning. The only problem was something about the material or shape of the IEM itself really irritated my ears and I can't wear them for anything more than 15 minutes. Tried with different tips but not much...

The idea of a triple DD setup like the Trio has me intrigued now, and I'm wondering if the Artti R1 would be a big leap from the Trio or more of a side-grade.

On paper the idea of a DD with a Planar sounds good. It might take KZ a few tries before they get this one right, but for now I'm kind of happy I went with the Trio

Can't wait to read your thoughts on both of these. A little foam in the red or black nozzle for the Conch might tame the highs if you find them a bit too spicy.

I just ordered the Trio a few days ago now I'm wondering if I should have got the Symphony instead.
