    Best android music player app?

Most of these add on sound processors are not worth the time and effort - they message round with the sound too much and are too gimmicky. I previously thought Google Play Music was best for me, but last few days I am back with Neutron again. I don't bother with EQ, but some of the little...

The effects of mood, hormones, and other neurological things on the perception of sound?

Quote:   ooh, controversial.  Double blind fromage tests indicate 6 out of 10 people cant tell Gouda from Red Leicester when Chris De Burgh's greatest hits are blasted into their face at a dinner party.

I would be interested to know if diet can affect hearing.

    Review | SoundMAGIC E10

If you can somehow get access to a pair of hifiman re-400s, the little double flange tips that come with them are actually even better with the E10 than any of the stock Soundmagic tips. Ironically, these Hifiman rips sound rubbish on the re-400s themselves (this being a massively overhyped iem...

    Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600

Lol. Very good. But here's the rub - by that logic, you might as well say that as long as an iem looks ok on the charts, then it doesn't matter what it sounds like in real life. Which is clearly an arse about tit way of looking at humanity. Coming soon to a padded cell near you: HEADFIMINATOR...

    Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600

I am not illiterate in the slightest. I just hate graphs. Does that make me a pariah in this parish? So be it - I see nothing wrong with relying solely on how stuff sounds when it goes in my ears.

    Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600

That's not necessarily true. Define sensory information - how do you measure it? Can I get 3 buckets of sensory information?

    Review | SoundMAGIC E10

Fit is such an important thing with iems, you are right. I wonder how many people never really hear their music as well as they should, simply because they are not using the right tips for them? At least Soundmagic bundle a big variety of tips for y to try with the E10 - very generous of them...

[REVIEW] HifiMan RE400 ‘Waterline’ – The New Reference

Quote:   The women line was a joke mate. I have plenty constructive to say. Saying I feel I've been ripped off with the Re-400 is constructive - its a counter view to those who are saying its the best value iem on the block. Ain't necessarily so.   But yeah, I dont see much mileage in...

    Review | SoundMAGIC E10

An utterly brilliant iem, that's what this is. I have been through more iems than hot dinners over the last few years, and spent way too much on things that were supposed to be the full stop on sound. Most I have forked out is £400 I think. Ouch. But the E10s are just so lovely, they do the...

[REVIEW] HifiMan RE400 ‘Waterline’ – The New Reference

I am entitled to say why I don't like the re-400 on a thread devoted to the re-400, as I have paid good money for a pair and want to share my thoughts. Please don't patronise me by saying you are trying to help me. Why would you think I needed help? I don't recall asking for it. Saying you are...

[REVIEW] HifiMan RE400 ‘Waterline’ – The New Reference

Quote:   I don't want an upgrade, please stop trying to recommend other iems. Why are you doing that?   The reason I got the RE-400s was because I came into some money unexpectedly and I saw they had just been released. I was happy with my E10s, but had bought those because my RE-272s...
