Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Review & Measurements
It is difficult to say if HD58X will match your sonic preference or expectation exactly, but in my opinion, you could do worse than getting these.- Cankin

Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Review & Measurements
Just received mine today and I'm very impressed. I often found HD650 dark and veil, details are often overpowered by mid bass, on the other hand, HD600 is a slightly grainy and can be bass light at times. I was worrying HD58X will be another dark headphone when I saw new FR graph comparing to...- Cankin

The AKG K7XX Massdrop First Edition Thread
I've posted this question in K701 thread but got no answer. I'll post here to get opinions here too. Does anyone know if the newer generation made in China K701/702 have 3db bass boost like k702 Annie or k712 pro? I am considering getting back a pair of K701 but I prefer no bass boost just like...- Cankin

K701 thread
Does anyone know if the newer generation made in China K701/702 have 3db bass boost like k702 Annie or k712 pro? I am considering getting back a pair of K701 but I prefer no bass boost just like those early Austrian made ones. I found early made K702 Annie a little congested but some say later...- Cankin

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
The fact is, HD800 sounds more speaker like than other headphones but it is still a pair of headphone. Your amp is not the problem.- Cankin

JDSLabs O2/ODAC gain options for HD650's
Unless you use source with low output, or you will be using O2 with battery or very inefficient headphone(HE-6) or combination of above, you don't need 6.5x Medium(1x, 3.5x) or low(1x, 2x) will be more than sufficient. I use my HD800 with 1x only and almost never of over 11 o'clock on volume...- Cankin

O2 AMP + ODAC
Someone recently asked my opinion about O2/Odac and if this combo have no bass. I guess it depends on that person's preference, it is not hard to see some members would try as hard as they can to color the sound. On the other hand, there are some of us who prefer their DAC and Amp have no or...- Cankin

O2 AMP + ODAC
With ODAC as source and power adaptor, I use only gain of 1x with my HD800. Volume knob at 10 o'clock even with quiet classical recording.- Cankin

Beyerdynamic T70
My T70 has better low freq. extention than my other non bassy headphones I had like K701, DT880 and HD600. In terms of bass quantity, it has around the same amount of bass as those mentioned.- Cankin
