To Clip Owners..Do the Clip & Clip Plus sound the same?

For me the Clip + has a fair bit more upper mid bass thicker mids etc. Obviously this is dependent on system, but it is noticeable to...- setmenu

Friends laptop hard drive started making pinging sound?
My friend has an Acer 5000 laptop which is around 6 months old. [just out of guarantee!] In the last few days one of the hard drives has started making an intermittent 'pinging' sound . Not sure what is making it, but it gives the impression of the lever holding the reader making an excursion...- setmenu

Optical illusion or near miss?
I believe I just witnessed a near miss between two airliners queuing to land at the UK's Heathrow airport. I was looking up and noticed what appeared to be one plane descending onto the back of another it was dark but the wing tip lights seemed exactly the same spacing apart on both...- setmenu

Ultrasonic teenager repellent!
Check this out: http://www.opinion.telegraph.co.uk/n...16/ixhome.html It mentions the emission of 80db sounds up to 16K. apparently anyone over 20 cannot hear this. Well I am 42 and quite clearly detect 16k and higher. And when one considers the 'hearing damage in the young epidemic...- setmenu

Anybody here familiar with the Delgados 'Hate' CD?
If so do you find the sound quality truly awful and distorted? My CD sounds terrible and whilst the music seems nice it takes a real act of will power to sit through the CD. Setmenu -
Compared my sony 2000 pcdp to Iriver H340 last night .
My partner has just bought herself an Iriver H300, the first hard drive player experience for either of us. This solid little player is really nice, I like the way it simply plugs in as an external hard drive , could prove useful on many levels. The advantages of storing your music on a...- setmenu

strawberry switchblade [WEA compilation 1997] anybody else got this CD?
I ask this, because I recently purchased this CD and I am somewhat dumbfounded by the tonal balance of the recording! There appears to be virtually no bass and little presence to the sound, but plenty of treble... This balance does not do much for my musical enjoyment of this CD, which is...
