So guys, the day has come. I officially miss my Grados, and kind of regret getting rid of them. The only thing that still gets to me is their comfort, which is why I haven't picked up another pair yet. I love my HE-300s for that, but I miss that forward sound that makes Rock oh-so tasty . I...- Vikingatheart

Rate The Last Movie You Watched
8.5/10 I watched this for my editing class, and boy oh boy was it friggin' good. I haven't cared about characters in a film this much in a long while.- Vikingatheart

The "Sick" Sound Discussion Thread
I've heard significant differences in my old 80i when I was really sick, but they weren't good differences. Everything just sounded really crummy. Haha- Vikingatheart

Well, its official. I no longer own a pair of Grados. I'm sure I'll get another pair at some point, probably RS2i or 1i, but for now I'm happy with my HE-300s.- Vikingatheart

Quote: I am selling them to fund purchases of other kinds. I am taking a trip very soon and some extra cash would be nice. Also, I really want a subwoofer for my Audioengine A2s. Hehe. I do agree with everything you said though, and thats why I love Grados. There just hasn't been a set of...- Vikingatheart

Well, it's been a couple of weeks since I put my Grados up on the sale forums and so far, no success. But it's given me some time to think about why I love Grados, and its really the clarity that gets to me. The separation of instruments for Rock and Metal is just awesome, and the forwardness...- Vikingatheart

I can't believe that day has come, but I'm selling my last pair of Grados. I love these things, but for a lot of reasons, I need the money more than the cans. If you all want, you can check them out in the Trade forums. Despite having started this thread, and thinking I was never going to...- Vikingatheart

As a lot of people of Head-Fi probably know, I am huge fan of the 225i! I would even pay twice as much for them, that's the kind of listen pleasure I get from them.- Vikingatheart

Good looking Headphones for rock and metal
I think that the Phiaton MS400 is a great looking set of cans and they sound (from the few minutes I listened) great with rock and metal. Don't get beats, waaaay to much bass for rock or metal.- Vikingatheart
