R5, a new Android DAP by Hiby
That's a peoblem tidal has with Android players. Got that on my phone also. It started with an update, but as I switched to Amazon music HD, I so not know if a future update or the app fixed it.. It seems it did not..- Tanelorn

Yes It was replaced. Software is possible also, I had issues with my Bluetooth headphones and a galaxy s8. After a firmware upgrade of the headphones everything was smooth.- Tanelorn

Hey, bad to hear you have issues with the R5. I have had mine returned also, but for other stuff and hiby helped me out very quick and extremely friendly. So I would assume they are in a stressful situation currently, abd Chinese new year will add up in silence as Noone is working then...- Tanelorn

R5, a new Android DAP by Hiby
As I always liked the clean beyerdynamic sound, I did olny try some 400€ jabra over ears.. Which were absolutely rubbish.. Do not remember the name and bang olufsen, which also were quite good, a bit more musical but less clean and detailed. I also tried through the beats studio phones which a...- Tanelorn

Depending on the phone you have the 80 ohms are also fine for mobile phones. I used it with galaxy s8, note 9 and huawei mate 20 pro. To be honest there is no big difference between 32 and 80 with phones and r5. You might experience a slight hiss when driving the 80s with a low power mobile...- Tanelorn

R5, a new Android DAP by Hiby
Hey you. From my perspective it is way better, if you want to drive bigger headphones. I use it with some beyerdynamics 80 and 250 Ohms. There the LG won't be able to drive them properly. For sensitive in ears I really was impressed by the LG sound quality, a bit thinner than the R5, but it...- Tanelorn

The New HIBY R3 II is here. 4.4MM Jack; Improved Sound and Bluetooth.
Would be great when the R3 does not charge my note 9 anymore and gets drained. But I also did not see any setting for that..- Tanelorn

Can anyone describe the difference between normal phone out and line out? Handling of both setups seem to be the same. But what's it technically? One is superior over the other when using earphones and headphones? @Joe Bloggs maybe can you give me a hint? I know there was that discussion...- Tanelorn
