the worst part of apple earbuds is that the new ones kill my ears, like the new shape just causes my ears pain, its insanely uncomfortable

i owned the m50x but i always wished i had the m50's just because their cable is so dam cool!

i do not have the 880s but i have the 990s and use a schiit stack with them for my macbook! works wonderfully and the sound stage is huge! 

i have a macbook air but ive used both a D1 Dac from audio engine and a schiit stack and both preformed wonderfully, the stack compliments the aluminum finish of the macbook alot more thought!

i used mine for my macbook air (late 2014) and it was wonderful, powered my A2+ speakers and my M50x just fine!

i used the d1 before i got my schiit stack and i can say that i honestly miss the little guy, defiantly did its job for a headphone/speaker combo!

i got a pair of A2+ from craiglist for a steal and i love them! they look so nice and sleek its a buestiful addition to any mac friendly setup.

it is pretty sad that the popularity did raise up the price! i want to get a pair again i miss my old set!

i use mine for my a2+ plu speakers from audio engine and it makes them pretty stinking loud to the point where i think it might blow them, especially when the gain is on high!

i have the 600 ohm model and use a magni 2 uber and a modi 2 and it makes them LOUD! so that would be a good choice!
