Home-Made IEMs
He mean ED is the Mid so normally start with higher Cap like 10uf to 6uf...for me 4.7 is a bit low. I usually use 20uf on ED and, for treble, I use 1uf to 0.8uf for SWFK.- IEMbiker

I think you can skip the DQ6s and get the Trio. I got my at USD 20. I own the og DQ6 and the Trio is all round better then the DQ6, especially the bass quality. edit: typo- IEMbiker

Home-Made IEMs
The bass problem is normally due to the seal issue. A good seal is essential, as the vents are for tuning and pressure relief. many factors can still cause this: crossover, phase cancellation, tubing length, and size. It helps to go through all the pages for starts. This thread is my DIY iem bibble.- IEMbiker

Home-Made IEMs
I tried the reverse polarity tuning method with my KZ ASX and quite liked it. 1xCi, 1xED, 2x31736, 2x30017. 31736 and 30017 are connected in reverse polarity with Ci and ED. I re-shelled the BAs into a new shell and added 2 switches.- IEMbiker

Finally, have time to share the graph. Big bass for basshead, DD-like. I did cross the ED at very low 200Hz to reduce the bass. 51ohm on the Ci. 20ohm and 30uf on ED.- IEMbiker

I always slap 50 ohm on my Ci and foam to filter until I get big drop around 250hz, and let the Ed drive full range with 10/18ohm. The bass is cleaner with 50 IMO.- IEMbiker

Simgot IEM discussion thread.
Kato Copper Nozzle - Red Line Kato SSteel Nozzle - Green Line Both nozzles reduce the Treble brightness of EA500 but in a good way. Bass note weight becomes more apparent. Copper reduces the 3D image and airiness due to more damping near 10k-16k region. So far, Kato SSteel sounds very good with...- IEMbiker
