Anything 12V/1.5A should be fine. I'm guessing that all the stuff in the package demands more power than USB can at 5v/500mA.

Even when they were selling the "beta" units it was around $750 or so. I think you'll have to wait until these things get more competition or go down in price :|

So, I think it plays them bottom-up -- I'm noticing that the song listed as #1 is the last song (as others are noticing as well), but when I play that song, it switches to another album later. Furthermore, if I start from the bottom (the first song), it plays upwards in alphanumeric order. I...

This sounds like a lot of fun. I'll bring my "portable" equipment: iPod + HP-P1 and my DX100 (complete with some 192/24 and 96/24 stuff loaded) along with my Ultrasone Ed. 8s and TP1-modded T50RP, if there's any interest.

My photo skills aren't worth much, but I updated my collection; every combination of this is sounding really awesome.     That's a 6th ed. iPod plugged into the Fostex HP-P1 and the iBasso DX100 (just came in today!)   Headphones are Fostex T50RP modded with a TP1 kit from smeggy...
