Picked one up plus a 60gb MK6008GAH hard drive to upgrade it with :) I'll eBay the stock hard drive when it comes in. This is exactly what I've been looking for!

To be fair, the review is about 6 months old. There are a lot of new features as of a few days ago.

The new Zune update will introduce lossless. I'm not sure about Gapless.

I have been emailing the hell out of all the big technology blogs to try to get them to ask about gapless. No word yet.

No, not yet.
v2.1 firmware is enabling the codec, though, which is coming out in November along with the new players.
