The Zune 8 definitely plays gapless audio. Im listening to mine now and everything works. You may be using EAC for ripping, but is it set up right? A lot of other MP3 players seem to play gapless but they just do an end to end fade between tracks so maybe your songs got ripped with a gap? Just an idea.

Try reloading your firmware. Couldn't hurt.

well, that is the second chance I see EAC having issues with someone Zune experience.

My files are definitely fine. Foobar plays them gaplessly. iTunes and iPod play them gaplessly.

I'll try reloading the firmware.
