I have read that the color of the Berning ZOTL is changed after 50 units have been produced.

Is there any validity to this?

And these three colors are offered all the time?

Basically, I like the blue one. I'd also like to purchase the unit new, and I'd like to be able to know if I could get a blue one from him at anytime, or if the availability of a blue chassis is dependent on the number of units sold.

The first 300 units were blue only, and I believe Berning was only going to offer that color unless those units sold. They did, and he now offers three colors. I don't know what happens when he runs out of one of them...you might have to wait for a new production run to get that color.
