ZMF x JDS Labs Homage Amp

Just got my Homage! Posting some unboxing pics. Thx @zach915m and team for the extremely fast shipping. So glad I picked the Pioneer (Maple Gold), it looks even better in person. I can stare at that VU meter all day. You can def fit a small DAC like Geshelli J2 or a Salire on top of the amp. So far I am enjoying it more than my Jot2 and FiiO K9 Pro with the Atrium. Also no hum with my IEMs at normal listening level.

My only critique about the build is that legs are a little uneven so the amp wobbles a little if I touch it (not a big deal). Might look into installing some rubber feet in the future.

Thanks for posting the pics! Looks great and I like the idea of pairing it with a Geshelli J2. I have a J2 in cedar and it'll be a nice compliment to the Homage.

Try it on different parts of your desk; it could be the desk that's warped.

I love the size of this amp. Fits perfectly on my crowded work desk at home. Perfect complement to my Cayin HA-3A, though I wish Cayin had amber leds for their black model to really match!

Also have some slight problems with wobble but nothing too bad. I've got some rubber feet here, so might do the same.

Nice!!!

We're shipping out feet to everyone who bought an amp btw in the USA.

It does work awesome with the Cayin DAPs, I've been using it mostly that way.

BTW if anyone wants an N7 I have one that is new in plastic that I haven't opened - PM me and I'll get you a screaming deal.

Why not just use it as is? It sounds excellent.

I'd love to but I'm going to be splitting the pre-out from my streamer (NAD C 700) between my speaker amp and the Homage. My speaker amp has no volume, so I need to use the volume on my streamer. Long story, so just need to figure out the right combination.

I got a HA-3A as well and I was thinking about the Homage as a complement to it. Can you give a comparison between the two?
