I'm about to pull the trigger on a Aeolus! I can't decide between the standard and the LTD. Thoughts? The LTD wood looks amazing and really pops against the black on black.

If you have the money, go for the LTD. If you have heard them before and know you are going to keep them, again go for LTD. They just look stunning and absolutely worth the extra money.
Dt 1990s are the only +$400-500 headphone I have ever tried and/or owned so I don't really know what to expect from Aeolus. If I loved it, during the next sale I will get the LTD one and let this go. Hopefully someday I can try out Verite before buying it and if I liked it so much to make my cheap ass pay more than twice as my Aeolus for it, this baby would be my end game.

It just looks stunning! Hopefully in a year we could see some second hand or discounted version of this beauty!

I can confirm, that the suede headband, is the bees knees of comfort! With the suede strap, the headphones just disappear on your head. I hope you get one.

Yes we can do suede on any of the headphones listed - just leave a note at checkout or send us an email right after you order and we will make sure it gets the suede treatment on any many elements as desired.

Depends on what you order - if you order a set that will be made new - like the Cocobolo mismatch auteurs, you'll be put in an order queue and it's first come first serve etc.

If they are a pre-built set (not marked NEW or similar) than it will be 1 - 3 weeks so we can refurb and test before they go out. Basically ASAP.
