I noticed that I respond more to those pairs where the cups don't have resin/wood halfs, but are split (more or less in the middle) by either resin or wood. Wondering whether anyone else feels that way, and whether that is inherently more difficult to produce than seemingly combining two halfs.



It reminds me of those river like table designs out there.

We have a Walnut Burl VC coming sunday, but it's a slight b-stock/mismatch with one side being a little fancier than the other.

Yep - new (made from scratch) headphone orders from ZMF November will all get the crescent band.

I'm in the same situation, have a 10ft 2K Copper cable with XLR connector and no balanced amps. I talked with Bevin about re-terminating the cable to 6.3mm, but I like the flexibility the adapter offers. I just wish it was like $75!

Check in with Arctic Cables. They can build you an adapter at a reasonable price.

Will the rarities be pictured individually and given an item number (pictured like the stabilized sets) Some woods like Bocote can be so different from pair to pair.

What kind of quantities were in b stock?

Cannot remember the exact number, as the order table included some rarities as well. In total there were ~75 VC pairs, so I would guess 40–55 b stocks.

I definitely would have been interested in a stabilized Auteur. I’ll just have to settle with the Ltd Blackwood. VC I already ordered .

All the wood is stabilized as well - so they all are alike a very dense, non-reverberous (prob not a word) wood. They sound very much alike a Blackwood or Ironwood to my ear, fast decay and very quick sound.

The woods in the Resin sets include, Oak, Buckeye Burl, Maple Burl, and Cherry Burl.
