I not sure what pads I'm using for my epoxy VC at the minute, these were the pads that were in the wooden case on top of the VC during the unboxing (not the stock ones installed on the VC by ZMF).

Are these the Universe or Autuer, they're the deepest pads of the ones provided by ZMF.

The Universe & Auteur pads had the same max pad height on the tall side, coming in at 1 inch tall.

You can tell the difference by measuring the diameter, Auteur = 4.25 inches vs Universe = 4.30 inches, or the height at the shorter side of the pad. For the second method, the Universe will be 0.79 inches and the Auteur will be 0.75 inches tall.

Reguarding Verite Closed pads, anyone ever compared the Verite Lambskin pads vs Vertie BE2 Lambskin pads?

What are the compromises between those 2?

My B stock Auteur, Salire stand (bloodwood), pads and michanikos cable all arrived today and look fantastic! Everything that arrived exceeded my expectations. Not only pleased but has me more excited for my incoming stabilized VO.

Ah yes, some of the e-mails do get binned into that folder too but no nothing yet. It seems that the stabilized sets that have gone out so far are the Aeoluses and Auteurs?

Interesting. I wonder what dictates order. I was one of first stabilized VO and no tracking yet.
