Long story short, back in the old days purple was used to represent royalty due to the very high price of purple dyes. Normal common folk could not afford it.

But now purple makes people think of Barney or Grimace or Grape Ape or Gonzo or Tinky Winky. Which one probably depends on your age or your kids’ age.

That is correct. It was one of those colors that presented exclusivity. I love that purple can be subtle, agressive, elegant and bridges the gap between red (some times hard on the eyes) and blue (very calm). I also like it bc if you paint a room purple, it is neither warm nor cool. Perhaps more on the cool if we got technical but still. I like looking at it far more than blue or red by themselves.

I'm not a fan or purple, but have seen some really cool looking purple ZMF (especially that mixed with brown "natural" colour).

Mangosteen arrived the other day....there is something about copper and purple that gets me every time. Another ZMF masterpiece.

You officially own my favorite Caldera.
If you end up selling that one let me know. Purple is the color of Royalty as you know. Love the purple on old Roman SPQR stuff.

My Atrium (top two pics) and Verite Open (bottom two pics) came! The Atrium is especially gorgeous. Black and White Ebony really is a nice wood. If the ZMF Aegis comes with a wood exterior I will have to see if @zach915m could do one with that to match the Atrium!

It's freaking beautiful! At a glance almost like a natural set, but with much more complexity and colour depth. The grill really match well too (coffee grill I assume?).
