Hi zach, quick question about B stock headphones and the cables they come with. Will they be the flat cables like you had before? Or the newer braided ones (see https://shop.zmfheadphones.com/collections/cables/products/zmf-stock-cable ) ?

The b-stock headphones get our flat cables until we are out, the new sleeved cables will be used after that.

got it, in that case i may want to purchase an upgrade cable.
if i had to purchase a better cable, what are the differences between braided and ofc? i would assume the braided would cost more but it doesnt.

The braided cable uses minimal copper for a sleek and flexible wire, the OFC has more copper in it and the shielding is actually more expensive than the paracord on the braided wire, so it just has a more robust build.

Seriously! I already have an Aeolus I plan on selling and I still want those purple ones.
Bought a B-stock Eikon (great price!), which will tide me over until a future irresistible LTD is released. I'll have all 6 current ZMFs, which is fun!

The OFC cable is very nice - it looks and feels solid and well-made. I have the single-ended and balanced versions and use them quite a bit.

Not sure that there is a fast track. Zach says somewhere on the site that everything ships in order of purchase. So b-stock gets in line with everything else.

Those are one of the best deals since they were $2700 earlier this year A stock.

Zach mentions there maybe some wood tear out from the machining on the site - what property of wood causes it to be more prone to tear out during machining?
