Just checked your website guys...and I have 3 questions:
1. Are there wooden cup options for the mk3 soon?
2. What is the difference between pilot and leather band, as there's quite a price difference and the photos don't make it obvious.
3. Do you ship as a 'gift' to the UK?

Thanks

1.  The MK3 drivers are the same as MK2, so no difference will be found in any model except the ZMF x Vibro MK II, which uses the MK 3 baffle and is available now. The baffle is the significant change between the MK 2 and 3.  Hope that makes sense!  We don't sell wood cups unless they are used in completed ZMF's.

2.  The price difference should be $10 USD between the pilot pad and leather band, the pilot pad just costs more to make.  The Pilot Pad is a thick velcro attached pad, while the leather band is a strip of leather.
3. Sorry we have to mark full value.  I'm not sure the legalities of marking gift or not though.

Apologies for the detail but....what is a baffle?

Are you saying the leather strip is just that literally, adhered to the inside of the head band which makes contact with your head? Is the pilot pad all leather?
I understand you have to mark value for shipping, but I'd like to know if you'd mark as gift, which if had before from the usa...
Lastly....on the wooden cups, I didn't want them separate...just to know if your we're bringing complete new mk3 versions out and what benefits this may bring sonically to the improved mk3?

Thanks for staying with me on this! :)

There some info here on the MK III Vibro:  http://www.zmfheadphones.com/zmf-x-vibro-labs/

In short, MK II Vibro has a redesigned cup to slider attachment for an easy fit, a wider soundstage, more neutral signature that doesn't sacrifice the slightly lush sound the Vibro is known for, and faster response.  It turned out really well and everyone who has heard it really speaks highly of them.

The baffle is the unit the driver sits in and is attached to the wood cups.  This is the main change made for the MK 3 coming from MK 2.

Please email me with your zip code at contactzmf@gmail.com for shipping info.  I need to do more research on the legalities of this etc.

Yep - you would just need to go to the upgrade page and select "upgrade to Omni Blackwood/LTD Wood."

I just tried and it shows the price as $800?  Assuming that's an error

It's interesting that you're selling Stock T50RP MKIII now. Will this expand to amps and dacs later on?

Not really sure at this point as I don't have anything planned.  It's definitely a thought and a slight possibility if I find the right pairing and manufacturer to work with.
