I use this album to test sub bass ever since I first heard it on my old LCD-2.1 pre fazor. It was truly the first time I was impressed with the Audeze.
It has been far too long to provide a meaningful comparison, but thru the Atrium I do not feel like im missing something.
Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box by Radiohead is a great test track. IMO the sum of it's parts more than makes up for the last bit of sub bass/top end extension. The roll off is mostly in comparison to rather than actually lacking in that aspect.
If I may add a little tip, use light flash from smartphone to brighten the grill. Black grill may appear as "silver a like" in colour when hit by light, to reveal the artistic texture.
That reminds me, I caught Polyphia's new track a few days ago on the Atrium and laughed out loud. This track has both great punch from the drum kit, as well as sub-bass from the bass guitar. All the while, the mids are placing the guitars center stage with amazing clarity.
The overly-arranged/produced style from Polyphia sounds really sweet with the Atrium (and VC) because these cans are able to keep up with the complex passages while simultaneously letting the underlying beat and chord progression do their part in communicating the flow of the song.

I'm still interested to hear what tracks you guys use to determine sub bass roll off. My usual go to are some Daft Punk tracks and I feel these have good extension and I haven't picked up any roll of. I typically on most headphones add a bass shelf at 100hz but haven't felt the need to on these.
Nice track, that reminded me to pick up a couple more of their albums on Bandcamp. Along the same genre I like to jam with some Morcheeba:
Their track "Never Undo" has nice bass and Skye Edward's vocals are amazing on the Atrium.

Yup! With a custom split. They are the best cables…I own a lot of them it matches the atrium perfectly too. I have a silver one for my VC which sounds amazing too
