I echo that which tube amp you use can make a difference. Even between two Feliks amps, the Elise (which is warmer, tubier) and the Euforia (more clean and solid state-esque), I saw a huge improvement in detail, clarity, and soundstage moving to the Euforia.

Had to do it. Pulled the trigger today on the Atrium Cocobolo with aged copper. Those babies are stunningly beautiful, well, they all are, but I really like what I've been hearing about them. And now the wait begins...

Had some requests for more pics of different grille and rod options so I'm throwing these up on the site. I'll keep taking pics as different "tones" and grille colors come through. As always, we carefully choose the wood we feel works best with each grille metal option. EDIT: These are aged copper and Stainless Steel BTW.

Oh My!

The Aged Copper!

That wasn't available as an option on these a few days ago when I placed my order.

I've just sent an email through. Would it be possible to switch my order from brass to Aged Copper?

Yeah send us a message with your order number and we should be able to make it happen. WE did just finish a few sets - so if that's the case we will give you some options.

The new Porcupine Tree album is amazing. Can't say I have a favorite track as they are all great but the one that stood out for me on first listening was Chimera's Wreck with it's the bass notes and amazing drumming (5.22 mark). Absolutely addictive with the Atrium and been putting the album on repeat the last 3 days. Never heard of them prior to this album and will definitely be exploring their full catalog in the coming weeks. Any recommendation on which I should try next?

I’m mostly an acoustics, jazz, vocals listener.

But if you want some serious bass that will shake your head and make your foot tap.. check out the old classic of King Kunta by Kendrick Lamar

(and… bang… my 500th message:wink:)

I'm actually referring to which Porcupine Tree album I should try next but yeah Kendrick is great. Probably the only hip-hop artist I actively listen to.
