I think the grill options are only for the Ziricote Aeolus and the regular stock Aeolus gets the black grills similarly like the regular Teak Auteur has black grills and the Cocobolo Auteur has options for Brass or Aluminum grills.
But the headphone hasn't come out yet so I might be wrong and I suppose you could always ask ZMF if they can do the stock Aeolus with Brass or Aluminum grills for you.

The Sapele stock wood was chosen to work with Black the best and we feel as though that's the nicest look for it. We have it on the site that Sapele gets black and LTD sets are the only ones you can choose silver or brass grille and rods, but if you're married to alternate colors on Sapele I'm not going to be the one to stop you.

I've always wanted a ZMF headphone. I'm glad I managed to demo Atticus & Eikon, before my local vendor pulled it out since there was little to no demand in the market here . If only I had money back then...

I found myself instantly attracted to Atticus lushious mid, wide soundstage and dat bass slam, just oooof. I like warm/dark headphones since im sensitive to overly bright headphones, so Atticus is my end goal.

Been tryin to get my hands on an Atticus LTD Edition Manchurian Ash in the neighbouring country (luckily there's a vendor there), but the vendor has been very slow in getting back to me despite having it in-stock.

Now I might join the Aeolus Pre-order instead. Another few more months of agony (i.e. waiting) but I guess it'll be more special when it arrives at my doorstep

I wonder what kind of cable upgrade would complement the Aeolus; the ZMF 2K copper, ZMF Michanikos (Pure silver), ZMF Atmos C (Silver/Copper) or a mixture of Silver/Gold?

Don't forget about the ZMF OFC cable. It is the cheapest of the bunch and really well made. Sounds good too.

I wouldn't go chasing gold cables unless you have so much money you don't know what to do with it. Better to upgrade your other gear before buying $1000+ cables that won't likely sound any better than a well made copper cable.
