Hi guys,

I recently sold my HR Desktop dac/amp, and i want to buy a new dac/amp for my new D7100.

I read a lot about Yulong D100 MKII, and seems like a great dac, but before i pull the trigger,

i just want make sure that the Yulong D100 MKII, is the best choice for the D7100 ?

OR you guys please suggest a best possible another dac/amp ?

Thank you

What is your budget range for amp, dac, or combined?

The D100 MKII is one of the best dac/amp devices in the sub $500 category. Below $1k there might be something better already...

Just my input here...

The D100 was my favorite amp with the D7000 that I heard when I had them...So I'd say go for it. I can only imagine the MK II and 7100 would be even better.

I've got AHD5000's and Yulong D100 MK2.. and let me say, they totally transformed these pair of headphones for me - they sound amazing!

My next upgrade will def be keeping the D100 and upgrading to AHD7000/7100 in future.

Cheers.

Don't plan for upgrades yet, unless you're going for an analog source. Your next upgrade will be very expensive beyond that rig right there.
