I figured since Thanksgiving is coming up we'd all have some time to kick back and catch up on a few flicks. Thank god for a break. Phew. I think comedey is a good genre for this weekend. List some movies you think are funny, perhaps listing your favorite funny film. That'll give us all some ideas about what to pick up at blockbuster if we've been out of the loop working 80 hour weeks.

I'll start. I think 40 year old virgin is pretty funny. Recently released.

Enjoy your holidays! =)

I also recently saw White Oleander. I rec. that one too. Ok, bye.

Here's a list.

Home For The Holidays is a definite, though Ice Storm as great as it is, isn't likely what you're looking for.

I like those british gangster-style dark comedy-ish films.

Layer Cake
Snatch
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Boondock Saints (sorta funny, in a twisted sociopath kinda way)

Here's a list of cannibalism films. The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover would be a great Thanksgiving flick.

Millions for somthing nice.

If you can find it, rent every season of Little Britain. Get yourself and your guest some adult diapers and prepare to laugh very hard. It's the best British comedy since Faulty Towers. In fact, it's the best British comedy ever.

Er, beg to differ, Coupling is (imo) the funniest BritCom in a long long time, Little Britain is funny though.
