What was the first CD/Music you purchased? Mine was Bruce Hornsby and the Range "the way it is".

Probably REM - Up. I don't recall exactly. Certainly that's the likely contender. At the time I was upset it didn't sound like Out Of Time.

It wasn't a CD, but the 45 I bought that I think was first was either "Shake, Rattle and Roll" or the "Muskrat Ramble" in the mid 50s.

The first album was Roger Williams piano music. I'll think of the title and add it later.

The first CD...or the first casette, or the first 8-track? Don't 'member.

I saved up my paper route money, rode my bike (as in bicycle) to the local Jamesway and bought the Beatles White Album.

The Partridge Family. No, I'm not kidding. Luckily I grew out of that phase.
