"Kind of Blue" (Legacy Edition) - Miles Davis

"Dum Spiro Spero" - Dir En Grey

"Vorleben" - Dustin O'Halloran

Might have to get these once again. I was moving my stuff around and one of my old bookshelves collapsed onto my a pile of CDs. Most came out fine except these two:

"Blood Mountain" - Mastodon

"Crack the Skye" - Mastodon

"Crack the Skye" got the worst treatment as it cracked right through the case real hard enough to have a piece of the CD chip off. "Blood Mountain" had several cracks throughout the disc. This bookshelf was more than meets the eye. :frowning2:

Take the pieces of the CDs and bury them in the backyard so thousands of years from now some archaeologist can dig up Mastodon fossils....

My wallet and I visited Fantasyland Records in Atlanta this weekend. We left with:

Led Zeppelin - Physical Grafitti, German LP, mint (yay!)
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream, Deluxe edition CD set
Thelonious Monk - Straight, No Chaser, LP, unknown provenance
The Who - It's Hard, LP
Genesis - Abacab, LP

It was my first time visiting Fantasyland. Very nice place, huge selection of LPs and, CDs. They even have 8-tracks and cassettes (though a much smaller selection). I didn't see any reel tapes, though... What gives?

*Very* excited about these:

Merzphysics

Merzmorphosis

20 discs of prime 90s Merzbow. Haven't been this excited about a CD purchase since I got my mitts on some out-of-print Natural Snow Buildings.
