Mastodon- Remission

What a great album!  Mastodon is definitely a fav of mine.  Remission, despite being their first album, set the bar high for the group.  I loved every second of it.

I agree, I've been trying to get ahold of both remission and leviathan for a long time, but could never find either for a fair price until today, used, but great condition.

Keb Mo - Keb Mo MFSL SACD
Bela Fleck - Drive MFSL SACD

That Alison Krauss is one of my favorite SACDs. It's just so good. I play the Redbook layer pretty often (no more SACD player). Which reminds me...I need to pick up that Beach Boys MoFi SACD.

I put it on my half.com wishlist last night. Got an email today that someone listed a like new copy for $28. I couldn't believe it.  I figured it would be something I would never own because $30 is the max I spend on one album. I love the regular CD and can't wait to hear the SACD.

And to not get too far off topic. Ordered since I posted that a few hours ago lol:

Sandy Denny - North Star Grassman & The Ravens
Allison Moorer - Alabama Song
Allison Moorer - The Hardest Part
Allison Moorer - Show
Joe Satriani - Strange Beautiful Music SACD ($8 but 50/50 shot that it will be a SACD based upon past experiences with the website)

Is there a 12 step program to stop buying music?

So long since I've been to this thread! And I haven't been keeping good track of when I bought when. But no matter, here are five:

Abney Park - [Off The Grid]
Arkona - [Slovo]
Arkona - [Stenka Na Stenku]
Eluveitie - [Helvetios]

And, with a nod to virometal: KMFDM - [What?!]

Melt Banana - Cell-Scape

David Bowie - Scary Monsters (remaster)

The Vapors - Clear New Days

Rush - Caress of Steel (remaster)

Rush - Clockwork Angels

I do not buy cd's often anymore, but the last four have been recent because buying new headphone gear and needing great source material. I highly recommend most of these albums from a production stand point and a musical one.
