The last five recordings purchased have all been for my Philip Glass collection, and all won on eBay auctions:
Music in Similar Motion, Music in Fifths. Chatham Square 1003. Vinyl.
Second release from Philip Glass' own record label, 1973.
North Star. Virgin International VIC2085. Audio Cassette.
Cassette release from 1977 with the original "pyramid" artwork.
Itaipu. Sony Classical SM 46352. MiniDisc.
I believe this may be the only MiniDisc release of Philip Glass music, which surprises me because Sony have the rights to a lot of Glass recordings.
Glass Box. Nonesuch CD.
This 10 CD box set was always too expensive for me to buy, especially as I had a non-boxed promo version of it that I picked up for about $20 on St Marks Place in NYC, finally got it for a bagain £26.
Music from Dunvagen. Dunvagen Music Publishers. CD
This was a promo CD issued by Glass' Dunvagen Music and sent out to music libraries. The seller described the condition as "acceptable." I had never seen one of these for sale before and was very pleased to have won this auction. I was even more pleased when it turned out to be far from acceptable, it was mint, I don't think the CD had even seen the inside of a CD player.
