More than 5:

Aphex Twin - 26 Mixes for Cash (sure, hardcore Aphex Twins fans who collect MP3's, but I don't know how many people have a legal copy of Curve, "Falling Free", as that was white label only)
Blue Man Group - The Complex
Mellowdrone - A Demonstration of Intellectual Property
Electric Wizard - Dopethrone
XTC - Drums and Wires
Khanate - (---)
Afel Bocoum, Damon Albarn, Toumani Diabate' and Friends - Mali Music
Tomahawk - Mit Gas
Justin Sullivan - Navigating by the Stars (anyone else here a fan of New Model Army? I do believe they're in my top 20 favourite bands of all time.)
:Wumpscut: - Preferential Tribe (Preferential Legacy + Music for a German Tribe + bonus tracks)
Front 242 - Pulse
Phaser - Sway
The Sicilians (featuring Angelo Venuto) - Un Amore
Katatonia - Viva Emptiness
Joe Jackson Band - Volume 4

EDIT: Pop quiz -- can anyone figure out what order I listed these in? It's not difficult, and it's not random.

I found a stack of used Bowie cds at the record shop last week and picked a few up. In order of preference:

-Low
-Ziggy Stardust
-Hunky Dory

(I think I'm going back for Scary Monsters...)

I also picked up Pavement's Slanted and Enchanted, and Cocteau Twins' Victorialand.

A bumperoonie for this thread, along with 4 albums I picked up today:

Everything But The Girl - Like the Deserts Miss the Rain
Picked this one up after reading a rec right here on these boards. So far I like it (and it included a bonus disc... not bad for a 7.95 used CD pickup). Laid-back, easy to listen to, some tracks have elements of electro-lounge w/ vocals. Fits well with this sunny, breezy day we're having here in Cali. Wish I could sit back with a mixed drink and soak it in (but alas, my final final of all times beckons).

nanoloop 1.0
I think someone here stumbled across this album as well. It is a compilation album by some electronic composers such as hrvatski and stock, hausen, and walkmen who have taken Game Boy music and sounds and rearranged them with a program called nanoloop (amongst other additions). Interesting pickup for me, as I'm interested in video game music.

Nobukazu Takemura - Hoshi no Koe
This album reminds me somewhat of Carpet Music's album. It is synth/organ laden and most tracks are lighthearted and ethereal. I need to give it a more in-depth listen when I get a chance.

The Cinematic Orchestra - Everyday
Follow up to their much-liked album (by me) Motion, Everyday adds some female vocals to the dark and moody jazz stylings that the Cinematic Orchestra offered in their previous album. Need to let it soak in a bit, though I liked the mood of Motion more than this one so far.
