Hope you like it better than the last one, although I think you will. Real grower, but still very accessible. Great rhythms throughout. And nice sound quality as a bonus. Perfect for a sweet sounding set of phones. Not for everyone, but nice to see more and more people getting in tune with them. People on sites like this should email the band if you like this record and tell them to keep making good sounding CDs with nuance and dynamics and texture, because there is still a large group of listeners that appreciate the sound of music

That's a really good CD, but I recently picked up the new one and it's kind of bland, and is moving further into ABBA, and away from My Bloody Valentine territory, so if you like The Orange Billboard, go earlier, not later. Isn't the bonus disk with the new Shearwater nice? Provides a nice alternate take on some of the best songs. Let me know how you like that earlier one.

Thanks for the heads-up. You know me well. I love "The Orange Billboard" alot. I immediately put the other moonbabies discs on my wishlist. I'll check out the earlier release rather than the newer one. The "Palo Alto" bonus disc is excellent. I really like "Special Rider Blues." You called it with Electrelane. "No Shouts No Calls" doesn't sound very much like "Axes." I put every song on the iPod except "At Sea" and "The Lighthouse." I'm not sure why those songs didn't do it for me, but everything else hit the spot for me immediately...
