Just picked up new Oasis 18 track hits collection stop the clocks
notes say remastered at Metropolis Mastering, song selection weighted heavily to early albums (as well it should be!) will play more today to see if remastering has made noticeable improvement.

Very nice package, thick booklet jammed with cool pix and nice CD label artwork. Best Buy selling version that includes 4 song stop the clocks EP along with CD both for only $9.99

I've only bought one album lately: "Meek Warrior" by Akron/Family

It is incredible. The album art is amazing as well:

Made a run to Tower yesterday and got all of these for 40%, plus they were doing a buy 4 and get the 5th free thing and my mom was two free ones short, so I essentially got three for free.

Forward, Russia - Give Me A Wall (Import)
Hard-Fi - In Operation (Import)
The Kooks - Inside In / Inside Out
The Music - Welcome To The North
Hot Chip - The Warning
Phoenix - It's Never Been Like That
The Walkmen - A Hundred Miles Off

Only 9.99? WOAH. I was originally going to pre-order it but I guess i'll check my local Future Shop/Best Buy. Too bad "Stand By Me" isn't on the CD, as it is one of my favorite songs.

The latest...

Philip Glass - Koyaanisqatsi
Philip Glass - The Fog of War
Carl Orff - Carmina Burana
Edvard Grieg - Peer Gynt Suites and Piano Concerto in A Minor
Sergei Rachmaninov - Piano Concertos 1 & 3
I Mother Earth - The Quicksilver Meat Dream
Meshuggah - Nothing (Remixed/Remastered)

I have to say the re-recorded guitars on Nothing are pretty sick sounding. And I'm rather surprised at how much I'm enjoying the I Mother Earth. I heard so many unfavourable things about that release.
