1. Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
2. The Walkmen - Everyone Who Pretended To Like Me Is Gone
3. The Ponys - Turn The Lights Out
4. Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank
5. I would have bought LCD Soundsystem's "Sound Of Silver," except the two CD shops near me only got one copy between the two of them, and it sold on the first day. Kind of hard to get to #1 on the Billboards if no one can find your album, eh?

I hear that new LCD Soundsystem is really, excellent too. I liked the last one okay, but it seemed a little excessive to me. They were, however, far better live.

Good stuff. How's that new Cloud Cult? I didn't even know there was a new one. I really liked "Happy Hippo..."

Good/ bad judgements are pretty subjective, but it sounds a lot like Happy Hippo to me- so if you like that, you will probably like The Meaning of 8. I like it, but I've spent more time listening to Menomena and PB&J.
