I choose "Mad World" 'cause that was what made me buy the album when it came out.
But please listen to the other tracks as well, they're great!
Nice relaxed music, with some nice guitar playing as well.

That song is so delightfully depressing. Much better than the original Tears for Fears version.

I'll plug ratatat twice in a couple of thread because I like them that much:

Band: Ratatat
Album: Classics
Track: Wildcat

They sample a panther growling! How badass is that? The rest of the album is good too and a little more orthodox. I'd call it electronic chill music. But the electronic element is pretty minimal.

They are my newest addiction. I love these guys. Just clean simple sound, good drum beat and great finger work.

Because the album is even better than the incredible film.

I really loved to see that movie...
But for some reason I didn't...
I listened a lot to Eddy, and Pearl Jam!

This morning I listened to the "Dark Side Of The Moon" at a friends house.
On SACD in Surround!
As much as I'm used to this album on CD, this was real nice too...
There's enough sounds to go around through all the speakers!
Surround is not for me, but still...

Pink Floyd
Dark Side Of The Moon
Breathe

Well, I gotta pick one, don't I..?
It's such a Masterpiece this one.

With lyrics like this, you just can't go wrong. Especially not with Vedder singing.

Quote:

Eddie Vedder - Society

It's a mystery to me
we have a greed
with which we have agreed

You think you have to want
more than you need
until you have it all you won't be free

Society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me

When you want more than you have
you think you need
and when you think more than you want
your thoughts begin to bleed

I think I need to find a bigger place
'cos when you have more than you think
you need more space

society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
society, crazy *indeed*
I hope you're not lonely without me

there's those thinking more or less less is more
but if less is more how you keeping score?
Means for every point you make
your level drops
kinda like its starting from the top
you can't do that...

society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
society, crazy *indeed*
I hope you're not lonely without me

Indeed.
I like Pearl Jam also, although it's a little depressing at some times, and that's something I don't need...
But Still.

Or which artist are you referring to?

Great to see that I'm not the only one who appreciates Pink Floyd as well as Folk artists!

Greetz!

Sorry about that. The artist I am referring to is Eltjo Haselhoff.

Eltjo Haselhoff: Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitarist & Free on-line guitar lessons

Although judging by your location you can probably pick up his CD's locally. I bought these tracks from the U.S. iTunes Music Store.

My CD collection is quite eclectic. I have CDs from Soft Pop, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Country, New Age, Fingerstyle Guitar and love it all.

Artist; Van Morrison
Album; A Night In San Francisco
Track; (medley) Stormy Monday/Have You Ever Loved a Woman/No Rollin' Blues
Reason; Just listen to this whole cd to capture the sheer enthousiasm the band, and even Van shows during the performances.
This particular medley is mainly sung by Jimmy Witherspoon.
It's simply fantastic!
One of the last great Blues Howlers, what a voice!

One of the real great Live performances in my opinion
