I made a direct comparison among almost all my cans some days ago, and at that very moment I would have said Alessandro MS2i.
K501s are delightful and delicious in the mids and trebles, but basses... you know; and just a little bit dry. On the other side, thier soundstage is open wide and I love it.
W1000s are very involving, but the headstage is a little bit narrow and flat.
Stax 202s... I could say something similar (not the same, but not so different) as for K501s.

In the end, MS2i's seemed the most tone-balanced, complete and neutral in the bunch.
