I use a klipsch promedia 5.1 setup. (original, not the new version)

ya... my speaker setup is dismal compared to my headphones but oh well. I like headphones more.

I currently use a pair of NHT Pro A-10 powered monitors with a diy dual 10" sub but I should have my new diy speakers with crappy paint job finished tomorrow or the day after.

I am pretty happy with my Swan M-200's, with a SVS PB2-ISD subwoofer to fill in the low ends. Very overkill for the source I use for speaker listening though - M-Audio Revolution 7.1. I also use FPS-200 Series flat panel speakers when I want to listen to classical. The Swans are great for nearly everything but classical, I would call them latent and confused when it comes to imaging an entire symphony. I intend to eventually switch to Event 2020bas V2 when I get around to replacing my Revolution with something better. As it stands, that's all my Revolution does -- plays music for friends, or amuses them with the earthquakes my subwoofer causes when someone plays a 3D game or listens to some rap.

I normally use two bridged rotels (RB970bx) to power my NHT superzeros and their unpowered sub (made in the early nineties). I recently got two kittens, so the stereo had to go to the closet. I picked up a refurbished set of MicroWorks from Cambridge SoundWorks for $25 (shipping included!) to carry me over. If only I'd never heard the NHT's... (I'd be a richer man),
