Hello everyone,

I´m new here, so hello to all from an spaniard.

I have the SE210 IEM which I bought about 1.5+ years ago. The rubber has started to wear out, and I see this is a common problem in this model. On the right side, it´s completely torn off, and on the left side it´s starting to break apart.

Also the volume on the left phone is less louder than the right one.

This is nonsense considering the amount paid for them (about 180€ at the time).

Just wrote to the local shure repair center in Spain to see if they can be repaired, as I don´t want to buy a new set or replace them; I usually like to repair things rather than buying new stuff.

Anyone had similar experiences repairing them? Any DIY?

Thanks!

Hello

Bought mine in February 2010, still both channels still balanced, no problems, but the rubber part that wraps around them is starting to wear out, to be precise, the right side channel/side,  the upper part is loose now, so I have to take care not to break it when put it in my ear, so what im planning to do is glue it with a "not so" aggressive rubber glue. Will let know if I was succesful
