I'm looking to build a Cmoy amp, and I have no experience building amp. The instructions from tangentsoft look fairly straitforth. My question is how do I add a dc power jack that can use to power the amp, and also use it to charge the batterey. Please keep in mind that I have no knowledge in circuits and simple pic like on tangentsoft would be easiest for me to understand.

Ok, now I think I understand. Now is it hard to add a small digital lcd for voltage readout?

Are you building an voltage displaying lcd super battery charger or a cmoy?

If you use the trickle charger, don't worry about voltages, just make sure your wallwart is a couple of volts over your battery. Use ~ 12V for a single 9V or around 24V for 2 9V's in series.

LOL, I just thought it would be cool to have a voltage readout. But there is really no use for that. I just need to understand the charging section as well as the rest of the assembly.

Easiest way to understand what happens in a circuit(at least for me) is to just to go along the schematic and trace with your finger the power path from Battery+ all the way to Battery- in every path possible.
