I must admit that the design of the Beats by Dre is quite nice looking and those also look quite nice, even though not liking the blue. Different shade of blue would've been nicer.

ugly but it's normal that this happens, these are all for-profit companies (especially megacorportions like yamaha)
if they can get a slice of the casual consumer market another company created they will
