My Xtra X-1 amp has a problem. It works with the battery removed and the charger plugged in, but when I connect the (dead) battery the unit shuts down and the battery does not seem to charge.

I like this amp but cannot find a battery for it. I emailed Jasmine Chine and Uncle Wilson at Jaben but they no long sell the amp.

The battery I have for this unit has no markings on it and I cannot locate a replacement after weeks of searching. I think it is a 2 x 3.7 volt 500 mah lion battery but cannot be sure. Does any one know the manufacturer and model of this battery? It seems to be a non standard battery.

Any help is much appreciated.

find a local battery store like interstate batteries .. just bring them the battery and they'll rebuild it for you for a small price they can pull apart and rebuild anything usually

I brought it to my local Interstate and they did not have the battery and said they could not build one.

Any other ideas on where I can get one of these:

I believe it is a 2 x 3.7 volt mah lithium poly battery

My Xtra X-1 had the same problem, however my battery had expanded loads.

I removed the battery and the amp worked.
