I have a 5.1 speaker system attached to an analog receiver (onkyo tx-nr509, to be specific), that I have it plugged into my asus stx essence soundcard. Now, when I open the xonar audio center, the analog out option only lets me choose between headphones or 2 speakers. So, only my front 2 speakers play music. How do i get all my speakers to play?? Please help me!!

You need to connect with your receiver with digital coax or toslink to get more than 2 channels & set the output of your card to send dolby digital to your receiver to play back multichannel sound. The STX is only capable of 2 channel analog out. All multi channel output has to be though the digital connection.
