Current desktop setup is
PC --> Xonar essence STX ->DT990 600ohm and --->DRA-397 ---> Fluance SX6 speakers and DB150 sub.
Mostly listening to music(let's say 80%) and some gaming(20%)
I know the essence STX can drive my headphones,but I'm pretty sure there's some untapped power left so I began seraching for a decent amp.
Stumbled upon the MP-301 (now MK3) and read it was a great headphone amp but could also power speakers. So,as I have a limited budget,I could sell the DRA-397(and save some space) and get a 2 for 1.
Or I could keep it, and look into a LD MK IV or V,Matrix M-Stage or Schiit Asgard 2 instead.
