I'm looking for an amp to match up with my Essence STX and HE-500's which are on the way.

Looking to spend around $300-$400 if possible. Is there anything that will power the HE-500s well at that price range?
 
I've been looking at the HiFiMan EF2A or Matrix Cube/M-Stage, unless it's worth spending a bit more.

Its a hybrid amp like the Lyr. Unless you don't like tube sound.

Turns out I can get a second hand M-Stage for about $150. Would that be enough to power the HE-500s?
